In the event of a claim being made for loss or damage whit is alleged to be caused by insufficiency or unsuitability of packing or preparation of the insured goods and/or merchandise and/or property, the Insurer(s) hereby agrees that it will not assert such alleged insufficiency or unsuitability as a defence against the claim where the packing or preparation was carried out by party other than the Insured and the Insufficiency unsuitability arose entirely without the insured’s privity or knowledge.
For the purpose of this Clause, “packing” shall be deemed to include stowage in a container, trailer or rail car.
